Video Conferencing facility through VPN was inaugurated at the Corporate Office of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd. today i.e. on 09.12.2011 by Sj. Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Hon’ble Minister (I), Dept. of Energy, Govt. of Odisha in presence of Sj. G. Mathivathanan, IAS, Comm-cum-Secy., Dept. of Energy, GoO, Sj. Sahadev Khatua, Managing Director, OHPC, Sj. Rajesh Sharma, Director (HRD), OHPC and other senior officials of OHPC. Sj. Khatua explained the Hon’ble Minister about the present generation scenario from Hydro plants, future capacity expansion of OHPC and benefits of video conferencing facility for maintaining various activities in power stations. This facility will further help in improving communication with different power stations of OHPC located at remote places of the state, besides improving efficiency of the organization.
